Children/Baby Dedication
Author: Jason CurleeOct 28
This Sunday, Nov. 2nd we will be having our first Children/Baby Dedication during the 11:30 experience. This is a great time for you to dedicate your child. It is also a declaration that you are going to bring them up to follow Christ.
One Scripture we believe is key to God’s call to us to raise our children is:
Deuteronomy 6:4-7 4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
We see in this Scripture is: First, it commands parents to love God; if they truly wish for their child to one day love and follow God, their lives must be an example. Second, Deuteronomy makes clear that the duty of teaching children belongs to parents; Church can provide weekly instruction, but parents must seize the teachable moments that arise throughout life.
If you want to dedicate your child or children please sign in at the Children’s Desk @ 11:15 to let us know…we will be doing the dedications after our fourth song.

Vote YES
This election season everyone has a choice to make. As you consider your options, we believe you should vote “YES” to the work God is doing at Bay Area Fellowship. Join us this week as we continue our series with a great message called “SERVE” as we learn how to be fully on board for the life God has for us.

Introducing Dee

5 Points Campus this is Dee Tavares…Dee Tavares this is the 5 Points campus.
Say Hello everyone.
What do you do at the 5 Points Campus? Nursery Director
Why is what you do important? I feel it is important to have a safe and secure place for babies to go so their parents can go and worship and learn about God.
What’s your day time job? Dental Assistant
When did you start following Christ and what have been some of the spiritual turning points in your life?? I was saved and baptized when I was in third grade. Had the foundation and I thought that was all I needed. When I married Ken and his children, it was important again to get back into church so the kids could get the foundation. God worked in us in ways we never even imagined. We have been growing stronger everyday since.
What was your reason for helping launch our campus? Charlie called Ken, who loves to build things, the rest is history. Just kidding. I feel I am doing what God has called me to do. I love being very involved in church and I feel I am growing more and more because of it. It is neat to see things happen because God had it planned.
If you were an animal…what would you be and why? a cat-they rule the home and are so cool about it.
What is your favorite restaurant? Any place that serves sushi.
What’s your favorite Scripture? Luke 18:15-17
If you could star in a movie what genre would you want it to be? It would have to be comedy
To get involved in helping create a safe place and exciting place for all our children by serving in the nursery see Dee on Sundays and get started.

- Pray For Them
- Spread The Word
- Look For Opportunities To Invite
- Don’t Give Up
If you haven’t seen it I went into a little detail on each of these. I challenge you to begin this process and let’s reach the 5 Points Campus.
