This Christmas we are partnering with a local organization to our area that takes in children pulled from their home by the state. Our idea is to give these kids and the organization a Christmas they hopefully won’t forget.

Could you imagine being taken out of your home for whatever reason during this time?

How much????? That’s totally up to you. What we are believing for is the ability to give every child two or three toys…and maybe purchase them an outfit and/or small suitcase.

At a max this organization could have up to 37 children of various ages and sex. We won’t know until the last minute.

This is purely about giving…we know these kids won’t be coming to our church the next weekend or ever. What we know is that we are about serving our community and being a resource to it.

Do you like working on computers?  Do you like techy things?

We are inviting you to join our Production Department who’s mission is to enhance the Sunday Morning Worship experience through multi-media, sound, and lighting.

Currently we are inviting one or two people to join our media team.  The media team is responsible for all the computer graphics, songs, and video that are used on Sunday Morning.  We are needing two people to develop our slides for the music.  We just transitioned from PowerPoint to a new program called MediaShout that is going to totally expand what we do.  Don’t worry…we will train you on the program if needed.

If you were there this past Sunday you would have noticed the moving graphics during the music time of our Worship Experience.

Your initial responsibilities would be:

• Working each Tuesday Evening during music rehearsal to update the current song selection to MediaShout.
• Putting together the Sunday Script of slides.

After all the songs are updated then the responsibilities would be:

• Creating slides for any new songs.
• Putting together the Sunday Script of slides.

This is an important part of our Sunday Morning Worship Experiences as it enhances worship and gives our first time guests a WoW experience.
