1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

I love this verse because there is so much wrapped up in there…

When I think of that it takes me back to the play ground in Elementary School…when it was time for P.E.  Undoubtedly, the two people that would get picked as captains would be two of the best athletes and then the pecking order would begin…all the best people would be picked until the last one…that last person would usually be the least athletic person on the field and week after week would be that last one chosen…

I think I’m bringing back memories for some of you.

But you are a CHOSEN PEOPLE…a royal priesthood, a holy nation…a people belonging to God…

Can I tell you this today…that you are a CHOSEN PEOPLE…God chose you…you aren’t the last on the team…but even if you were it would be because God chose you…

Being chosen is that very thing that makes you remarkable.

When you begin to see yourself as someone that God has hand-picked…someone He chose…it all of the sudden begins to transform your attitude.

Look at your self in the mirror today and say, “God Chose Me”

Now come on…say it with some attitude…”God Chose Me”

One thing that makes you remarkable is that you are chosen.
