One of the best stories in the bible about baptism is found in Acts 8 when an Ethiopian Eunuch, who has a divine appointment with Philip, puts his faith in Christ and immediately says: “Why shouldn’t I be baptized?” That one question reveals a why not mindset. And it changes the course of history. He becomes the first missionary to Ethiopia.

George Bernard Shaw once said: “Some men see things as they are and ask, ‘Why?’ I dream of things that never were and ask, ‘Why not’?”

This Sunday is ConneXion Sunday…a day when we have communion and baptism at both our 10 and 11:30 a.m. services.

If you have made the decision to pray and begin a relationship with Christ and have not been baptized as Christ was then this is your Sunday.

Why not have the attitude of the Ethiopian Eunuch who said, “Why shouldn’t I be baptized?”  Why not follow the example of Christ when He Himself was baptized by John in the river Jordan?  Why not make this Sunday a Sunday to remember!!!!  There’s no better time.
