Following the intense Christmas Eve service schedule, there will be no services this weekend at any Bay Area Fellowship location (December 26 and 27). This will give the Bay Area staff and volunteers time to rest and celebrate the holidays with their families. Services will resume the following weekend-January 2 and 3. Merry Christmas!

Christmas at 5 Points

caroling—This Saturday, Dec. 19th @ 5:30pm, join us for some caroling in our neighborhoods then hang out afterwards as we watch a Christmas movie at the campus…if your coming bring some goodies (cookies/sweets) to share with everyone.

winter wonderland christmas—5 points is having its own Christmas Production and it’s going to be HUGE…Join us at three different times for Winter Wonderland on Tue, Dec. 22nd at 7:30pm or Wed, Dec. 23rd at 6 or 8pm…help us spread the word..two evenings of lights, music, wonder & fun…please be praying about what you will give during our production as we will receiving offerings due to no church on the 27th.

christmas weekend—make sure you join us for our Christmas Production as Bay Area Fellowship will not be having church Sunday December 27th…

As we focus on this wonderful time of Christs birth we realize that God wants us all to experience the re-birth that comes with knowing His Son. Its also a time to recognize that, as the Lord literally put a child into Mary, he puts a dream in each one of us that will serve the purpose of expanding and enriching His kingdom. Join us during the entire Month of December at 5 Points as we learn how to discover the unique dreams and vision in each of our hearts that God wants to birth for the good of others! Merry Christmas!!!

We have a great opportunity for you to reach out to the 5 Points area with our Fall Fest and here are some of the ways you can help:

• Invite - we will have some flyers at the campus this Sunday and you can use them to invite families to come out that day.
• Donate - We are in need of LOTS of candy to give out to those that are coming.
• Volunteer - We need people to volunteer on the day of the event…with enough people we will be able to set it up where you help during a time and then can have fun with your family at the event.  If you are not already signed up contact bakidz@baf5points.com to let us know you can help.
• Pray - We are believing that God is going to send over 1,000 people to our campus for this year’s Fall Fest…pray with us and believe that will happen.

Sunday, October 25th, during our 11:30 am time, we will be having Child Dedications.

At our Child Dedication service, parents commit to raise their child to know Jesus Christ for the glory of God and pledge to raise their children in a Christian home and church where he or she can come to know, love, and serve Jesus. A child is a God-given trust (Psalm 127:3).

Child dedication is not the same as infant baptism. We believe that baptism is a public statement of faith that can be made only by someone who has personally believed in Christ. Infants cannot make a personal decision to believe in Jesus.

You will not have to recite a pledge during the ceremony. You should, however, read and decide whether you are able to commit to this pledge:

“Declaring Christ as Savior and Lord and believing in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I acknowledge that my children are gifts from God, that I am a caretaker by His grace and, therefore, accept the responsibility for raising my family to know and follow Jesus. As a Christian parent:

• I will demonstrate for my child Christian integrity in my personal life.
• I will teach my child the meaning of fidelity in my marriage.
• I will show my child the meaning of fellowship and servanthood through my church.
• I will model my faith in my life, in prayer, and the application of the Bible’s truth as I teach my child to follow Jesus as Lord.
